Established in 2019, the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation Australia (JAFA) fills existing voids in advocacy, health services and action on Juvenile Arthritis (JA). Our programs have been extensive and very successful for such a small organisation, but we desperately need to fund further programs to keep up the momentum. JAFA's MISSION: To stop pain and disability in children and young people with arthritis which aligns directly with the needs of 30,000 young Australians aged 0-24yrs, and their families, living with juvenile arthritis, a painful and potentially disabling, incurable, chronic disease. Juvenile Arthritis is one of the commonest chronic childhood diseases (similar to childhood diabetes) and has been historically overlooked, under-resourced by federal and state governments and under-researched.

Kids Cancer Support Group Inc
We're a not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting, supporting and enriching the lives of children diagnosed with cancer and other blood disorders at Perth Children's Hospital. We are run by parents and caregivers who have all experienced childhood cancer first-hand. That lived experience, combined with qualifications and skills in peer support enables KCSG to provide effective practical and emotional support where it's needed most. Our support is all-encompassing and includes the whole family - starting at the initial diagnosis and continuing throughout treatment and beyond. The impacts, life-altering and long-term effects of a child being diagnosed with cancer are ongoing and continue long past treatment.
